Description
The recalled screens are Wal-Mart Home Trends 2-Paneled Fireplace Screens with model number 500RR. The 500RR model screens have a light rust color and use standard Phillips-head hinge pins. Hazard
The paint on the metal mesh can ignite when exposed to a direct flame, posing a serious fire hazard to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using the fireplace screens immediately and return them to any Wal-Mart store for a refund.

Pascal has not received any reports of incidents. This recall is being conducted to prevent the possibility of injuries.
