Description
The recalled lawn tractors were sold under the MURRAY® and STANLEY® brand names and have 38-, 40-, 42-, 46-, and 52-inch cutting decks. The brand name is printed on the front or side of the lawn tractor and the model number can be found on a nameplate under the seat. Hazard
The fuel tank can crack and leak fuel, posing a burn and fire hazard to consumers.
Remedy
Consumers should stop using these lawn tractors immediately and discard or destroy the product. The firm is out of business and a remedy is no longer available.
Incidents and injuries
Murray has received 101 reports of fuel tanks leaking. No injuries have been reported.
